How to get a job with us...
At TrueNorth Staffing, interviews take up most of our week. We love meeting new people and hearing about your experiences and inherently, we are good people who want to give everyone an opportunity.
We will work hard to find you the best opportunities that we can but in turn, you need to pull your weight. Here a few pointers:
- Have experience in the job you apply for. 20 years as a gardener is not getting you a chef role.
- Be neat and tidy. Your mum probably isn't there.
- Iron your clothes. Most work places will require this. Unless you are an extra in Shameless.
- Turn up for the shift you are booked for. You won't get paid otherwise and probably won't be able to work with us again. Unless your leg fell off or something. We're not that tight.
- Don't swear. It's simple but effective.
For employees...
We can find you the job of your dreams. Honestly, we're good at it. If you feel like punching your boss it's probably time to give us a call.
For employers...

Yes! We prioritise consistency and continuity wherever possible and are
happy to build teams around your preferences.
What locations do you cover?
We operate across the North-West and can mobilise staff for both local
shifts and multi-day events
How do I get paid?
We offer weekly pay, and all hours must be submitted and approved via our
timesheet system. Full payment details will be shared during onboarding.
Can I choose my shifts or availability?
Yes—you can set your availability and accept shifts that suit your
schedule, whether you want part-time, full-time, or flexible work.
Will I get training or support?
We provide access to mandatory training and ongoing support to ensure
you’re confident and compliant in your role.
How soon can I start working?
Once you’ve completed your registration, compliance checks, and training,
you can start picking up shifts—often within a few days.
What happens if I need to cancel a shift?
We understand that things happen. We just ask for as much notice as
possible so we can find cover and maintain client relationships.
