Once upon a time, on a rainy day in the seaside town of Blackpool, a small and mighty staffing elite was born. It was a bit like the Big Bang theory but it wasn't billions of years ago and we weren't just molecules. We had one mighty mission: to help the world of recruitment.
Side missions include: going for pub lunches, always finding reasons not to go to the gym and being sound guys.
TrueNorth Staffing wasn’t founded in some fancy city office, but in the land of donkeys, arcades, fish & chips and Jamie’s kitchen. A plan was devised to navigate both the recruitment of talented staff, and reducing the time we spent justifying Jaffa Cakes as a continental breakfast option.
Armed with unwavering passion, a couple of spreadsheets, a 5 pack of coloured highlighters and too many glasses of wine, we set out on our journey to match people with jobs that make them say, “I won’t ring in sick today.”

What kind of staff can you offer?

We provide fully vetted, qualified staff for the healthcare, education,
festival, and event sectors—including nurses, carers, teaching assistants,
bar staff, stewards, event managers, cleaners and more.
How do you vet and qualify your candidates?
All our staff go through thorough background checks, reference checks, and
sector-specific compliance processes. For healthcare and education roles,
we ensure enhanced DBS clearance and up-to-date training.
What roles are available through your agency?
We offer roles across healthcare (e.g., carers, nurses), education (e.g., teachers, teaching assistants, SEN support), cleaning (e.g., domestic and commercial cleaners), and events/festivals (e.g., bar staff, and hospitality crew).
What do I need to register?
You’ll need proof of right to work in the UK, a valid ID, and
sector-specific documents like a DBS check, training certificates, or
licences depending on the role.
